First Call For Papers
The 2009 International Symposium on Nonlinear Theory and its Applications (NOLTA 2009) is going to be held at Chateraise Gateaux Kingdom Sapporo Hotel & Spa Resort, Sapporo, Japan, October 18-21. The objective of the symposium is to provide a forum for exchange of the latest results related to nonlinear theory and its applications. Papers describing original results in all aspects of nonlinear theory and its applications are invited. Topics include, but are not limited to:

Paper Submission
Authors are invited to submit full papers in PDF format via the web site
http://lalsie.ist.hokudai.ac.jp/nolta2009/
Only electronic submissions will be accepted. Corresponding authors of accepted papers will be requested to submit a 4-page final paper for the symposium proceedings. At least one author of each paper must register for the symposium by July 31, 2009 for the paper to be included in the program. Questions concerning paper submissions should be sent to:

The paper submission page will be open by the end of March, 2009.Special Sessions
NOLTA 2009 welcomes proposals for special sessions. Proposals will be evaluated based on the timeliness and the scientific quality of the topic. Notification of acceptance will be sent to the organizers by March 2, 2009. Please submit proposals via email by February 20, 2009 (extended) to:

Student Paper Award
The NOLTA 2009 Symposium Committee will select a small number of excellent papers written primarily by a student, among regular and special session papers. Candidates are nominated by TPC of NOLTA 2009 before the Symposium. The candidates are asked to present the paper at the symposium. The selection is based on the quality, originality, and clarity of the paper and the presentation.
